Kennedy Ellingson

Trainer & Coach, Ellingson Equestrian Inc.

Kennedy has been riding since 2002 and has competed in hunters, equitation and jumper classes up to 1.50m. Her background takes her from riding for the Alberta Select Team, to the North American Young Rider Championships (NAYRC) in 2011. Kennedy attended the University of Kentucky where she was a member on the IHSA Equestrian Team and won both the Regional and Zone Finals to move on to compete in the prestigious Cacchione Cup at the Nationals. In 2015 Kennedy graduated with a 4.0 GPA at the University of Kentucky to earn a BSc in Equine Science and Management where she focused on nutrition and exercise physiology.

Around this time she was also introduced to Pulsating Electro-Magnetic Field (PEMF) therapy and became a certified practitioner. She is currently working on her certification to practice acupressure and continues to study all things equine. It was her university coach who suggested that Kennedy had an aptitude for coaching and Kennedy quickly realized she had a passion for teaching others.

After moving back to Edmonton, Kennedy started Ellingson Equestrian and continues to compete and coach riders of all levels, while maintaining her PEMF practice.

If you’re looking for a coach to take you to the next level on your riding journey, Kennedy would love to welcome you to her riding program. Contact Kennedy by email: kennedy@kencam.ca.
